I like these ratchet belt especially when I'm wearing my tactical pants. No slipping and I can send it up loose or if I wanna go tighter I can. Would recommend getting the size range that is next bigger from your waist line. And just cut the excess off. I have a size 40 waist and bought the one that was 36 to 42 and luckily it wasn't too short. I bought another belt and bought the 42 to 46, again I have a 40 waist. And I will end up cutting a little bit off but it will have as much excess as I want.

Attaching the metal ratchet buckle and adjusting the belt to size is straightforward and uncomplicated. When trimming the belt make sure to cut the unfinished end and use heavy-duty scissors. I highly recommend this belt.
I had a similar belt that finally fell apart after years of use, so I needed a replacement. I rather like the ratchet style belt buckle, so when I found this option from Chaoren for half the price I originally paid for my last belt I was pretty stoked. The belt I received was much better quality than the one I had. The belt itself is quite solid and doesn't feel like it might eventually delaminate like my first one, it might even be leather like the description says. The buckle is pretty cool. I picked the carbon fiber looking one in black. I kinda wish I had picked the 2 belt option so I could have another color in my wardrobe, but I wanted to see the quality first. I've been a bit bigger these last few years, and currently sport a 42" waist, and it was a good thing I decided to go with the 42"-46" option, it fits perfect and I didn't have to trim the belt any.
